We remain 100% open and continue to welcome guests to Diya Royal and The Griffin at the current time. We can honestly say the speed and depth of this pandemic is like nothing else we have experienced, but we firmly believe that we can all pull together, support our community and, in time, this too will pass.

Nothing matters to us more than health and wellbeing of our guests and our team and we want to take a moment to assure you of the diligent approach we are taking to combat the threat of COVID-­‐19.

We are closely monitoring the daily changing Government guidelines and implementing their instructions accordingly. Whilst there are no reported cases of the virus amongst either our guests or staff, to address the seriousness of the situation.

  • We are paying attention to cleaning of all common contact points such as door handles and countertops, our teams are working around the clock to ensure these will be regularly checked.
  • We will always extend a warm welcome to arriving guests, but for the time being this welcome won’t be accompanied by a handshake or any other physical contact.
  • We ask for your help in washing hands thoroughly as often as possible. Every single member of our team has committed to washing hands thoroughly every half-hour possible.
  • Team members will observe the 2metre distance rule from guests and colleagues as much as possible, as recommended by the Government.

If you are not feeling great, we wish you well and ask you to postpone your visit until you’re feeling better.

Customers are more than welcome for take-­‐away collection or home delivery (home delivery might be effected due to driver shortages at the current time but we will advise and help as much as we can on the phone while taking orders)

We also like to thank our wonderful customers who are showing their huge support via sending us emails and messages in this critical situation. We will always remember your continued support and love. We are also very much thankful to our lovely regulars who are continuously supporting us visiting regularly in the pub from our local community in this dynamic situation. Thank you.
